Each year's production features professional guest artists - such as The Washington Ballet's Felicia Baker in 2023 — performing alongside talented students and pre-professional dancers from local studios including Berrend Dance Center in Gaithersburg, the official school of OBT, which is helmed by Artistic Director Patricia Berrend, award winning and internationally recognized teacher, formerly of the Hamburg Ballet. This classical ballet maintains its historic charm with vintage sets, props, and costumes, some dating back to its original premiere over 60 years ago.

Each year, OBT welcomes thousands of ticket holders, but we require sponsorship and grants to fulfill our commitments each year. We have a variety of packages available at different price points, including Presenting & Title Sponsorships at $5,000 and $10,000, respectively. We value your contribution and support.
